A set of signs with the names of villages in the ATO zone in Ukraine in 1:35 scale. A scenic accessory for dioramas with modern vehicles and figures.
Responsibility details are not available.
A sign at the edge of a village is a small thing that gives a diorama a place and a time at once. By it a viewer recognizes where the scene takes place, even when only one vehicle and two figures stand around. The set is focused on the signs of villages in the ATO zone in Ukraine, that is on the area for which this designation is used.
The set brings signs with the names of villages in 1:35 scale. The version, the number of pieces and the way of fixing them are given by the manufacturer in the enclosed instructions, because they differ among the individual sets of this series. Choose the way of gluing and the preparation of the surface accordingly.
A sign looks believable only once it does not stand perfectly straight. A slightly leaning post, a bent corner or a scuffed edge will do more than the best paint. You will usually prepare the post yourself from a thin strip or from wire; sink the lower part into the terrain and mask the joint with soil and grass. Before painting, wash and degrease the surfaces and let the base paint dry thoroughly, and only then add dust and rust.
It will be appreciated by builders of dioramas of modern conflicts who are working out what to fill an empty spot by a road with. This is a scenic accessory: the model, figures, a base, posts, paints and glue are not included, unless stated otherwise.
