Signs by a road anchor a scene sooner than any large element does. By them a viewer recognizes that a vehicle is standing on a road, at a turning or in front of a village. This item is the second part of the series and widens the selection of Ukrainian road markings for dioramas with modern vehicles.
In the package there are road signs in 1:35 scale made of cardboard, designated as part 2. The composition of the signs is given by the manufacturer on the packaging; they complement the other items of the series, so that no sign has to repeat along a longer section of road. The posts are not ready made; they are prepared from a thin strip or from wire.
Cut the cardboard with a new sharp blade against a ruler, with several light strokes instead of one strong one, so that the fibers do not tear. Paint the light cut edges over with a dark color. The material does not stand damp, so do not soak the parts and apply wet materials onto them sparingly and in thin coats. Glue the sign to the post with super glue or PVA glue, as cement for polystyrene has no effect on cardboard. A slightly leaning sign looks more believable than a perfectly upright one.
It will be appreciated by builders of larger scenes from modern conflicts for whom one set of signs is not enough. The model, figures, a base, posts, paints and glue are not included, unless stated otherwise.
