Barbed wire for 1:35 scale, set 2, a total length of 1660 mm. A scenic accessory for fences, barriers and the bounding of a scene.
Responsibility details are not available.
A barbed wire fence is an undemanding way of closing a diorama off and giving it a boundary. It takes up little room, but it determines at once where you can get through and where you cannot. In 1:35 scale, though, the fineness of the execution decides: the thinner the wire, the more the fence resembles the real thing.
The set brings barbed wire for 1:35 scale with a total length of 1660 mm and is designated as set 2. The series offers two sets; how they differ from each other is given by the manufacturer on the packaging. There you will also find the material and the version, which govern the choice of the tool and of the glue.
Cut the wire only in the scene, once you know how long a section you need; shorter pieces are then hard to join. Sink the posts into the terrain and let them dry before you stretch the wire between them. At a barrier do not press the wire down to the ground along its whole length, as loose loops look more natural. Degrease the surface before painting, lay down a base paint and apply the rust sparingly, because a fence rusted evenly along its whole length looks artificial.
It will be appreciated by builders of dioramas of both world wars and of modern conflicts, and also by those who build fenced installations and checkpoints. The model, figures, a base, posts, paints and glue are not included, unless stated otherwise.
