A 1:35 set for German armored vehicles of the Second World War: photo-etched boxes with hinges and padlocks, and a decal sheet to go with them.
Responsibility details are not available.
Boxes for tools and spare parts were carried by German armored vehicles on the fenders, at the rear and on the turret, and they are among the things that give a model a lived-in look. A kit usually carries them as a solid part with a suggested lid, so they cannot be opened and the fittings on them have the shape of relief. This set replaces them with separate parts and adds hinges and padlocks to them, that is the elements the eye finds first at the rear of a vehicle.
Photo-etched parts: boxes for German armored vehicles of the Second World War, lid hinges and padlocks. A decal sheet with divisional insignia is included as well. Check the number of boxes and the layout of the fret against the manufacturer's information on the packaging.
Separate the photo-etched parts with a sharp blade on a hard surface and sand the remainder of the tab down. Make the bends along the marked groove, and with the boxes it helps to fold them around a block of the right size, so that the edges stay square. They are bonded with super glue; degrease them before painting and lay down a primer. With sheets of this kind the decals are usually applied by the wet method, that is by a short soaking and sliding them off the backing. Before you soak the sheet, check in the instructions whether it is not a self-adhesive version: a soaked self-adhesive film is ruined, whereas an unsoaked waterslide decal can be soaked afterwards.
Paints, glue, decal softener and tools are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
