Masks for the wheels of the T-34 tank in 1:35 scale. They make it easier to separate the tire band from the rim without laboriously drawing the paint round with a brush.
Responsibility details are not available.
The road wheels of the T-34 are one of the places where a build is held up most often. There are a great many wheels on the model, each has the tire band and the rim in a different tone, and drawing the boundary round with a brush so that it is equally round and equally wide on all of them is work for a whole evening. A mask shortens this step: it holds the boundary for you and it is identical on every wheel.
The masks are stuck onto the part before spraying, onto a surface that is clean, degreased and dry. Press the edge down with a toothpick or the blunt tip of tweezers, so that paint does not run under it. Spray in thin coats and rather at a right angle to the surface, because under an oblique spray the paint gets under the edge more easily. Take the mask off as soon as the paint becomes tacky; if you leave it on the part until it has fully cured, it can tear the edge of the coat away with it.
For builders of the T-34 in 1:35 scale who want their wheels done quickly and uniformly. They pay off wherever the model stands on a clearly visible running gear and the wheels are not covered by mud or by a load. Which kit the masks are cut for should be checked against the manufacturer's information on the packaging, because the diameters of the wheels differ among the individual releases of the T-34.
The model, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
