The fighting in Spain between 1936 and 1939 preceded the Second World War, and the vehicles and markings of that time have a character of their own. For a builder it is a rewarding theme exactly because it cannot be got through with the standard equipment of the later years. This stencil is tied to it and is worked for 1:35 scale.

Finish the surface first and let it dry, and only then lay the stencil on and press it down over its whole area, so that the paint does not run under the edge. Apply thinly and in coats, as a thick coat creates a visible step on the surface. Weaken the finished motif, so that it does not look newer than the rest of the machine or the scene.
