Work only on a finished and dry surface, that is after the base coat and after the main dusting. Press the stencil down over its whole area and apply the paint thinly, or it will run under the edge and the outline will be lost. Always lead the splashes in one direction, because liquid flies off where movement threw it, not in a circle.
The stencil suits builders of dioramas and display-case bases in 1:35 scale who are finishing the floors of workshops, cargo beds and vehicles in use.
