A decal sheet in 1:72 scale with markings of Ukrainian vehicles from the operation in eastern Ukraine in 2014 and 2015, the first part.
Responsibility details are not available.
The abbreviation ATO is used for the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine in 2014 and 2015. Vehicles then carried markings that arose in service: tactical insignia, numbers, lettering and recognition elements differed from one piece to another and were often applied by hand. It is exactly this that makes the vehicles of that time interesting for modelers, because two machines of the same type looked different every time.
The sheet is designated as the first part of a series. Which particular insignia and lettering it carries and which vehicles they belong to are given in the instructions enclosed with the sheet.
First spray the model and draw a gloss varnish over it, or a matte rim will appear under the motif. Cut the motif out together with its backing, soak it for a few seconds in lukewarm water and let it stand. After moving it, adjust the position, draw the excess water off and let it dry; on riveted surfaces a decal softener helps. Finally unify everything with a matte varnish and dust it if need be, so that the markings do not look new. Before you soak the sheet, check in the instructions whether it is not a self-adhesive version, because a soaked self-adhesive film is ruined.
The decal sheet is supplied on its own. Paints, varnish, decal softener and a model are not included, unless stated otherwise.
