A set of four short-range air-to-air IRIS-T guided missiles in 1:72 scale. It is not an aircraft kit but external stores to complete a model of your own. The manufacturer lists it as usable on a range of modern combat aircraft that carry this missile.
The IRIS-T is a modern European short-range air-to-air missile with infrared guidance, that is, a weapon that finds its target by the heat of its engines. Against older missiles of this class it has a markedly better ability to engage a target off the line of flight and better resistance to decoy flares. It is carried by a number of European aircraft and is one of those weapons that even people with no deeper interest in aviation recognize on a pylon.
The printed parts have thin print supports that need to be cut off and the surface after them leveled. Do not look for casting blocks or mold release agent on them. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Before fitting, check that the racks on the model match, and put the missiles on only once the aircraft has been varnished. Training and live rounds differ in their colored bands, so look up the particular subject you are building and indicate the bands with a decal or with thin tape.
