An injection-molded plastic kit of the Honda VT250F motorcycle in 1:12 scale from the Japanese manufacturer Aoshima, in its The Bike range. The kit captures the version after the 1984 update. The box usually holds rubber tires, chromed and clear parts and decals. The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The Honda VT250F was a light sporting quarter-liter motorcycle introduced in the early 1980s. It was powered by a liquid-cooled gasoline V-twin with a 90 degree included angle and a displacement of 249 cc, which offered a lively and refined character for its class. The 1984 update brought changes to the fairing and the mechanicals.
Glue the plastic with thin modeling cement. Assemble and paint the frame and the engine separately, and protect the chrome parts from fingerprints. Bring the glossy fairing out with a good varnish, and use gloss varnish under the decals so that the edges do not show. Add the wiring and hoses according to the drawing for livelier detail.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
