The Aoshima Yamaha 4G0 XJ400 '80 1:12 is a plastic kit of the Japanese road motorcycle of 1980 with a faithfully worked inline four.
Responsibility details are not available.
A plastic kit of the classic Japanese motorcycle in 1:12 scale from Aoshima, from its range of motorcycle models. The set captures the form of the machine as of 1980 and uses metal as well as vinyl accessory parts to raise the realism.
The Yamaha XJ400 of 1980 was among the popular middleweight road motorcycles. It was powered by an air-cooled four-stroke inline four of 400 cc with DOHC valve gear, which offered the brisk and refined character typical of the fours of this class.
The model calls for assembly and painting. Metal springs tend to be used for the rear suspension, and the cables and hoses are reproduced with vinyl tubing, which raises the fidelity. We recommend painting the frame and the engine with an airbrush, protecting the chromed and glossy areas with masks and overcoating the tank and fenders with gloss varnish; fine-tune the fine pinstripe decals according to the color version you choose.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
