An injection-molded plastic kit of the wide-body twin-engine airliner Boeing 767-300 in 1:144 scale from the Russian brand Zvezda. The model captures the stretched fuselage of the -300 version, the large wings with their underslung engines and the tall vertical tail. The box contains clear parts and a decal sheet. It is a popular model among airliner collectors and offers large areas that are ideal for a striking livery.
The Boeing 767 is an American wide-body twin-engine aircraft for medium and long routes. The 767-300 version has a fuselage stretched compared with the basic -200 and a higher passenger capacity. A pair of fuel-efficient turbofan engines and the ability to fly over oceans (ETOPS) made it a popular machine for transatlantic and other long routes. The Boeing 767 has served with airlines all over the world and in freighter form remains in operation to this day.
The key to a convincing airliner is a perfectly smooth gloss surface. Fill and sand the long fuselage joints so that the large areas show no unevenness. Mask the cockpit glazing. Airbrush a gloss base on which the livery will sit well. Apply the extensive decals (stripes, windows, logos) patiently with a decal softener and seal them with a coat. Finish the landing gear and the engine nacelles last.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
