Chinese Fleet Set 2 in 1:2000 scale is the second kit set of PLA Navy ships, a separate box with different contents from the first part of the series.
Responsibility details are not available.
The second set of plastic kits of PLA Navy warships in 1:2000 scale from the manufacturer Meng. It is a separate box that follows on from the first set and contains different vessels, so the two parts complement each other and are not interchangeable. Check the exact list of types on the box.
The 1:2000 scale serves for building whole formations, not individual ships. The models come out very small and the main role is played by silhouette and proportion, because fine details are necessarily simplified at this size. The subject of the set is modern PLA Navy surface vessels. The advantage of a consistent scale is that the relative sizes between the ships are preserved, which makes the group more convincing even though it takes up only a small piece of shelf.
Cut the small parts off on a light surface over a shallow box and pick them up with tweezers. Apply the glue with a tip or a needle so that it does not run. Painting the hulls while still on the fret saves a great deal of work. Thin the paint more than on large models, otherwise a thick coat will cover the engraving. Use weathering only as a hint: at this scale a slight lightening of the decks and fine darker lines along the sides is enough. If you are building both parts of the series, plan a shared base with a water surface in advance, so that the ships have the same backing and the same shades of sea.
The models are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
