A kit of the German Fokker Dr.I fighter triplane of the First World War in the large 1:24 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Fokker Dr.I is a single-seat German fighter of the First World War. The abbreviation Dr. in the designation refers to the triplane layout, that is three wings one above the other. Its short span and deep airframe gave the machine a silhouette that cannot be confused with anything else and made it famous among the aircraft of its day. The fabric-covered framework typical of the aircraft of that period is easy to read on the model in the large scale.
The model is supplied as a set of parts to be assembled and painted. The 1:24 scale means a large model with room for detail in the cockpit and in the engine bay; the number of parts, the contents of the decal sheet and the choice of color versions are given in the instructions enclosed in the box.
The large scale and the assembly of a biplane, or rather triplane, structure make more sense for a more experienced builder. The reward is a striking model for the display case that stands up to a close look.
The kit is supplied in its original packaging. Paints, glue and other supplies for the build are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
