B-25 Mitchell — 2 Wright R-2600 Engines (for HK Models, 1:48, Art Scale) is a detailed add-on set, not a complete model.
Responsibility details are not available.
This product is a detailed add-on set from Art Scale, not a standalone model. It contains two complete Wright R-2600 engines and is designed to raise the fidelity of the HK Models bomber kit B-25 Mitchell in 1:48 scale. The parts are made with modern 3D design and resin printing, which preserves fine cylinder finning, head detail and small features that injection-molded plastic struggles to achieve.
The North American B-25 Mitchell is an American twin-engine medium bomber from the Second World War, famous among other things for the raid on Tokyo. It was powered by Wright R-2600 Cyclone radial engines, reliable powerplants also used on a number of other aircraft of the period. Faithfully rendered engines noticeably bring a finished model to life, especially when built with the engine cowlings removed.
Wash the parts to remove residue, carefully separate them from the supports, and sand the surfaces with airway protection. Glue with cyanoacrylate (super glue). The engines stand out with airbrush painting, dry-brush highlighting of the cylinders, and a fine wash; small wiring and fittings can be picked out by hand.
This is an add-on detail set, not a complete model. The base kit, glue, paints and other accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
