This detailed resin set from 3D printing contains a centerline auxiliary fuel tank with a capacity of 650 gallons together with its pylons, intended for models of the Republic F-105 Thunderchief fighter-bomber in 1:32 scale. The package contains one tank. It is not an aircraft model but an accessory to be hung under the fuselage.
The Republic F-105 Thunderchief was an American supersonic fighter-bomber, one of the main strike aircraft of the war in Vietnam. It carried a great deal of external ordnance as well as auxiliary tanks, and the large centerline tank extended its range on strike missions.
Wash the parts free of mold release residue, cut them off the print supports and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Check the mating faces of the pylons before painting. The tank looks good once a base color and a smooth varnish have been applied.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the model are not included in the package.
