A set of colored 3D decals from Kelik for the cockpit of the McDonnell Douglas F-15 C fighter in its modernized MSIP II form, in 1:32 scale. This is an accessory for a plastic kit, not an aircraft model. The pre-printed films, built up in layers, capture the revised instrument panel and the side consoles with features of the modernized equipment. The parts are colored from the factory and give the pilot's compartment realistic depth without photo-etched parts or hand painting.
MSIP II (Multistage Improvement Program) was the upgrade program that brought F-15 C machines more capable avionics, a new radar and the ability to carry more advanced armament. The cockpit differs from the early machines in the layout and fit of its panels. Modernized Eagles stayed in front-line service for many more years this way, as a key air superiority fighter.
Degrease the surfaces before you apply them. Let the decal soften in water, transfer it and press it into the relief with a softener. A fine wash and a final matte clear coat even out the look and draw out the individual instruments.
This is an accessory for a kit, not a model in its own right. The aircraft kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
