A pre-painted 3D detail set of the instrument panels from Red Fox Studio, intended for a model of the two-seat fighter-bomber F-4E Phantom II from the Academy kit in 1:32 scale. It is not a kit of the aircraft but an accessory which replaces or improves the instrument panels of the front and the rear cockpit. In the large 1:32 scale the plastic relief and the pre-painted details stand out especially well.
The F-4E Phantom II is an American two-seat supersonic multi-role aircraft from the era of the Cold War and the Vietnam War. The E version brought an internal rotary cannon and an improved radar. The Phantom served with a number of air forces all over the world and belongs among the icons of the jet era.
Separate the parts carefully from the carrier backing and glue them with super glue in the place of the original instrument panels. Painting is not necessary; the depth can be brought out with a thin wash. Adapt the mounting to the Academy kit for which the set is designed.
It is an accessory for the cockpit, not a model of the aircraft. The kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
