A model of the Italian Macchi C.200 Saetta fighter in the large 1:32 scale from the Italian manufacturer Italeri. This is completely new tooling; according to the manufacturer the package contains photo-etched parts, 3D decals for the instrument panel, masks and decals for six color versions. A kit to be glued and painted.
The Macchi C.200 Saetta (designed by Mario Castoldi) was one of the main Italian fighters of the early Second World War. The all-metal monoplane was powered by a Fiat A.74 RC.38 radial engine; it entered service in 1939 and stood at the beginning of the development line from which the C.202 Folgore and the C.205 Veltro emerged.
We recommend building the model in subassemblies and dry-fitting the parts before gluing them. Paint the cockpit and interior, and pick them out with a wash if you like, before closing the fuselage. For the best result, use a good thin cement for plastic, fine files and, after the primer, an airbrush. Apply the decals over a gloss clear coat and seal them with a matte one.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
Absolutely superb kit of a classic Italian ww2 fighter plane . Loaded with detail . Great for modellers of any level , but you will need to not rush the build and you will acheve a brilliant result . Thanks again Italeri . Roll on the Bomber Scale Sparviero!!!!!
