Responsibility details are not available.
A plastic kit of the French single-seat fighter monoplane Morane-Saulnier Type N in 1:32 scale. The subject is one of the first fighter aircraft in history, which earned the nickname Bullet thanks to its slender fuselage and prominent conical propeller spinner. The model is supplied as an unassembled and unpainted kit.
The Type N grew out of a prewar racing aircraft and first flew in 1914, shortly before the outbreak of the First World War. It was powered by a rotary engine, and pitch and roll control was by warping the whole wing (wing warping) instead of conventional ailerons. The machine gun fired forward through the propeller disc, and its blades were protected by steel deflectors that turned aside hits on the propeller itself. It was one of the first solutions for firing through a propeller disc. The aircraft was used by the French and the British air services, and it was with the latter that it was known as the Bullet. Well-known pilots of the early war flew the type, including Roland Garros.
Glue the plastic parts with liquid cement for plastic. Apply a primer before painting. On aircraft of this era an imitation of fabric covering and wooden parts stands out, so work with matte colors and fine filters. Do not forget the rigging (the bracing wires), which can be added with a fine thread or wire; it markedly increases the fidelity of the model. Apply the decals over a gloss clear coat and seal the whole model with a matte clear coat.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
