Cork sheets with a fine grain, 3 mm thick, two pieces in the package. A material for building terrain, rock faces and diorama bases.
Responsibility details are not available.
In a diorama, cork is a shortcut to terrain that does not look manufactured. Its grain is irregular, so breaking a piece off leaves an edge that resembles a fracture in stone, and you get the same surface on an area you merely sand. It comes into its own on rock faces, on banks and embankments, on collapsed masonry, as a layered base under a road and as a light filler under modeling putty that would otherwise need far more material.
Two fine-grained sheets 3 mm thick. The fine grain suits smaller scales and surfaces where the texture should be visible without overpowering the detail of the model. Stacking the sheets lets you build a taller formation, and the seams between the layers themselves suggest the horizontal bedding of rock.
For builders of dioramas and display bases who need a light, easily worked foundation for terrain. It is also handy for quickly trying out a composition before you commit to the final form of the scene.
The cork material is supplied in the stated form. Paints, glue and modeling putties are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
