A set of color 3D decals from Kelik for the cockpit of the French Morane-Saulnier MS.406 C-1 fighter in 1:32 scale. It is an accessory for a plastic kit, not a model of an aircraft. The pre-printed, layered films capture the instrument panel, the side consoles and the seat in high relief. The parts are colored at the factory and give the pilot's compartment realistic depth with no need for photo-etch and hand painting.
The MS.406 was a single-seat French fighter, one of the main types of the French Air Force at the beginning of the Second World War. It was powered by a Hispano-Suiza V12 engine. Although it was outperformed by later opponents, it was built in considerable numbers and served with other users as well. The C-1 designation refers to a single-seat fighter.
Degrease the interior surfaces, let the decal soften in water and press it into the relief with a decal softener. A final fine wash and a matte varnish will bring out the instruments and even out the surface of the mixed wood and metal interior of a period fighter.
This is an accessory for a kit, not a standalone model. The kit of the aircraft, glue and paints are not included in the package.
