A modeling accessory from the Quinta Studio brand in 1:32 scale: a set of pilot seat belts of the Soviet Air Force of the Second World War, in the Type 1 version. The straps are 3D printed in color on decal paper and are supplemented with separate metal buckles. The set is universal (for All Kits) for fighter models in this large scale. It is not a kit but an upgrade set for the cockpit.
The large 1:32 scale shows detail off well: the combination of a 3D decal and metal buckles gives the belts depth, faithful colors and the realistic sheen of the fittings. The straps are shaped over the seat and read like loosely lying fabric. The Type 1 version differs from Type 2 in the cut and the layout of the straps.
Release the straps from the paper once they have softened in water, lay them on the seat, let them dry and attach the metal buckles. For a natural look, wave and bend them. Recommended for modelers with experience of fine accessories.
