The model captures the wheeled chassis, the rotating gun turret and the 152 mm howitzer. It is a larger kit with a great many parts and etched components; the exact contents are given in the enclosed instructions.
The DANA vz. 77 is a Czechoslovak 152 mm self-propelled gun-howitzer built on a cross-country Tatra wheeled chassis with 8x8 all-wheel drive. It was precisely the wheeled solution and the automated loading that made it a unique design in its day. It was developed in Czechoslovakia and remains valued as a domestic engineering achievement that still appears in the equipment of several armies, including the Czech and the Slovak one.
Glue the plastic with a liquid model cement. Given the number of parts and etched components, plan the assembly out in advance; finish the chassis and the interior of the turret before closing the large assemblies up. We recommend a primer and an airbrush, and a bending tool suits the etched parts. Bring the earthy camouflage scheme to life with washes and pigments for dust effects.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
