An injection-molded plastic set of rounds and ammunition boxes for the German tank and assault guns of 7.5 cm caliber KwK 40 and StuK 40. It is not a model of a vehicle but a detail accessory for 1:35 scale. The package makes it possible to build rounds of two types and to add spent cases as well, so it is ideal for loading combat vehicles and for diorama scenes with ammunition.
The KwK 40 and StuK 40 guns made up the main armament of the German Panzer IV tanks of the later versions and of the StuG III and StuG IV assault guns. The ammunition was supplied as high-explosive, smoke and armor-piercing in a single case, which this set respects with differing types of projectile.
Glue the parts with thin cement for plastic and clean the joints up carefully. The brass cases stand out in a metallic shade with fine highlighting, and the tips of the projectiles were told apart by color according to the kind of round. The boxes will appreciate a wooden or metal texture and weathering for setting them into a scene.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
