An injection-molded plastic kit of the British 17pdr Mk.I anti-tank gun in 1:35 scale from Bronco. The package holds plastic parts and photo-etched parts for the finer detail. It is a standalone model of an artillery piece, not of a vehicle.
The British 17-pounder anti-tank gun of 76.2 mm caliber ranked among the most effective anti-tank weapons of the Second World War. It could pierce the armor of the heavy German tanks and was committed both in its towed form and as the armament of armored vehicles. The Mk.I version represents the original form on a gun carriage.
Assemble the carriage, the wheeled undercarriage and the shield carefully. Leave the fine photo-etched parts and the sighting mechanisms until the end. Use thin cement on the plastic, spray over a base coat with an airbrush, and complete the weathering with washes and dust pigments.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
