A set of photo-etched parts for the model of the Canadian Leopard 2A6M CAN tank in 1:35 scale. It adds thin metal items to the kit that cannot be made in plastic.

The Leopard 2A6M is a variant of the German Leopard 2 battle tank with strengthened protection of the hull floor against mines. The Canadian land forces used these machines in Afghanistan and service in those conditions left its mark on them in a number of modifications: additional protective items, stowage baskets and other fittings on the turret and on the hull. The main armament is a smoothbore 120 mm gun, which the 2A6 version received in the longer-barreled form. The CAN suffix in the name distinguishes machines of Canadian service from the original German configuration.
This is an add-on set of photo-etched parts in 1:35 scale, intended to improve a kit during the build. Photo-etched sheet makes it possible to produce items that are necessarily too thick in plastic or cannot be put into a mold at all: grilles, thin covers, eyes and loops. The range of parts and the list of kits the set fits are given in the manufacturer's instructions.
Cut the parts out of the carrier sheet with a sharp blade on a hard surface, do not break them out. Make the bends on the edge of a steel ruler or in a bending tool, always in one pass and along the whole length of the bend. Glue with cyanoacrylate applied with a pin, and on loaded joints soldering works well. Before painting, wash and degrease the sheet and spray a primer, otherwise the covering coat will not hold on smooth metal.
The set is for modelers who are willing to add metal details to a kit and who have tweezers, a sharp blade and preferably a bending tool at hand. The kit of the tank, paints, glue and tools are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
