This injection-molded plastic kit captures the Chinese Dong Feng Meng Shi light utility vehicle of 1.5 ton capacity in the open form for special forces. The model is meant to be glued and painted. The package offers a one-piece frame with detail, separate suspension and drivetrain, a complete exposed interior, opening doors and hood and rubber tires; the exact contents may differ between editions.
The Meng Shi (also EQ2050) is a Chinese 4x4 off-road vehicle developed by the Dongfeng group, inspired in its design by the American HMMWV. The open form for special forces offers a better view and easy access for the crew, which suits fast movement and the deployment of lightly armed teams.
The exposed interior and the frame are clearly visible, so paint and detail them carefully. Use thin modeling cement on the plastic and super glue on the rubber tires. Spray over a primer and lay washes and dust pigments onto the chassis and the equipment.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
