Injection-molded plastic kit Italeri Elefant Sd.Kfz.184 Panzerjäger Tiger in 1:35 scale: the German heavy tank destroyer with the 88mm gun, figures and four marking versions.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the German heavy tank destroyer Elefant Sd.Kfz.184 (Panzerjäger Tiger) from Italeri in 1:35 scale. The set holds glued rubber tracks, movable suspension, three figures and decals for four color versions.
This heavy tank destroyer was built on the VK 45.01 (P) chassis designed by Ferdinand Porsche and in its original form carried the name Ferdinand. It was armed with the powerful 88mm gun, which destroyed enemy tanks at long range, and with massive frontal armor. It made its combat debut in the Battle of Kursk. After modifications, among them a machine gun in the hull and a commander's cupola, the vehicles were redesignated Elefant in 1944.
Finish the running gear and the lower hull before painting. Degrease the rubber tracks before gluing and use a cement suited to that material. Even out the base coat (dark yellow with a mottled camouflage, for example) with a filter, bring out the recesses and rivets with a wash and rub through the edges; weather the heavily worked lower hull and the tracks with pigments (mud, dust).
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
