Injection-molded plastic set of figures of a French tank crew in 1:35 scale from MiniArt. The box contains five figures in various positions, standing as well as seated, with separate limbs and separate heads. The figures are intended to bring models of vehicles and dioramas in the same scale to life.
The set depicts members of a French tank crew from around the start of the Second World War. It captures the period uniforms and equipment of tank men in natural, restful poses, which let you compose scenes at the vehicle and away from it. The set serves to fill in the historical context of a scene.
Clean the sprue gates and the flash off the parts carefully and sand the mold lines down. Glue the plastic with liquid cement for plastic, then fill and sand the seams. Paint the figures in layers: first the base, then the skin, the uniforms and the equipment, and finish the detail and the faces at the end. Light shading and a dry brush work well for bringing out the folds of the cloth.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
