Fuel and oil drums 1930 to 1950 (1:35, MiniArt) is a plastic kit set of period drums and containers for completing dioramas and vehicles in 1:35 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set is an accessory for dioramas and vignettes, not a vehicle model. It contains injection-molded plastic parts of period metal drums and containers for fuel and oil from roughly 1930 to 1950 in 1:35 scale. The drums bring to life the setting of field depots, workshops, refueling points and Second World War military scenes.
The set serves to fill out and enliven a diorama around tanks, trucks and figures. The drums can be stacked, laid on their side or spread around as a backdrop to the action. They are a fitting addition to scenes with refueling, vehicle maintenance or fuel storage.
The parts are glued with cement for plastic. A base laid on with an airbrush is recommended, followed by heavy weathering: chipping, rust, oily marks and dust with washes and pigments. It is exactly the wear that gives the drums their credibility.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue and paints are not included in the package.
