This 1:35 scale kit from MiniArt represents the Soviet GAZ-03-30 bus in its 1938 model-year form. It is an injection-molded plastic model to be assembled and painted. The box contains plastic parts, clear parts for the glazing, photo-etched elements and a decal sheet with several marking options. The doors can be built either open or closed.
The GAZ-03-30 was a light bus built on the chassis of the GAZ-AA truck, the Soviet licensed version of the Ford. Its body with a wooden frame offered room for sixteen passengers. From 1938 the vehicles moved onto a modernized chassis with a more powerful engine. The buses served in both civilian and military use and were widespread across the whole Soviet Union.
Pay attention to the detailed chassis and engine, which can be brought out nicely. Use liquid cement for plastic; the wooden surfaces will come to life once you have laid down a primer and glaze layers. We recommend spraying the colors with an airbrush, and washes and pigments will serve for the weathering.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
