A plastic kit of the German Flakpanzer Gepard self-propelled anti-aircraft vehicle in 1:35 scale from Meng. The box lets you build either the A1 or the A2 version and brings precise moldings, movable features, photo-etched parts and a mirror film.
The Gepard is a self-propelled anti-aircraft system built on the chassis of the Leopard 1 tank. It carries a pair of 35 mm automatic cannons and its own search and tracking radar, which lets it destroy low-flying targets. The A1 and A2 versions differ in detailed changes to the electronics and the equipment.
Finish the running gear before closing the hull; the kit offers movable suspension and tracks to be assembled link by link. Use liquid cement for plastic and cyanoacrylate glue for the photo-etched parts. A primer, an airbrush and fine weathering all pay off; paint the radar and barrel assemblies with regard to how intricate they are.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
