Cargo trailers extended the carrying capacity of a towing vehicle without any need to bring in another automobile with a crew. Provisions, ammunition, tools or equipment were carried in them, and they were joined to the vehicle by a drawbar with a coupling. Alongside combat equipment, trailers of just this kind belong among the inconspicuous but highly rewarding elements of military scenes, because they lend a scene credibility and fill the empty space behind a vehicle.
This is a plastic kit in 1:35 scale, that is in the most widespread scale of military modeling. The model can therefore be combined with vehicles, equipment and figures of the same scale from various makers. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
Separate the parts from the sprues with sprue cutters and level the remains of the gate with a sharp knife or a file, so that no stub is left on the edge. Sand the mold parting lines down, because otherwise they will stand out once sprayed. It is sensible to paint the underside and the load bed before the whole thing is closed up, because they are harder to reach afterwards. The load bed will take a layer of dust and worn edges, and weathering will do it more good than a smooth new coat of paint.
The kit will be appreciated by modelers of military equipment and by builders of scenes looking for a credible accessory to go with a vehicle. Paints, glue and the towing vehicle are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
