An injection-molded plastic set of figures of German repairmen and mechanics of the Second World War period in 1:35 scale. The figures are made as multi-part moldings in light polystyrene with separate limbs and heads; they are assembled by gluing and painted according to your own reference. The set is intended to bring scenes with vehicles and field workshops to life.
Maintenance and repair of vehicles was an inseparable part of the service of every motorized unit. Mechanics worked in working uniforms or overalls, often with tools and in typical working poses at engines and running gear. It is exactly such scenes that give a diorama with vehicles a story and a sense of scale.
Separate the parts from the sprues and clean up the mold parting seams. A primer and painting in layers work best - working clothes come into their own with gentle emphasis on the folds, and faces with gradual lightening. Soiling the hands, the knees and the clothing with washes and pigments underlines the working character of the figures and ties them into the surrounding scene.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
