Responsibility details are not available.
This plastic figure set in 1:35 scale contains soldiers of a German tank crew from the Afrika Korps units that served in North Africa during the Second World War. It is a special edition from MiniArt, extended compared with the ordinary boxing by a set of infantry weapons and equipment. The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The Afrika Korps was the German expeditionary corps deployed in North Africa from 1941. Tank crews wore the characteristic light tropical uniforms, different from the European pattern, which makes these figures a popular addition to dioramas of the desert fighting. The set captures a crew in typical poses.
The parts are separated from the sprue and glued with modeling plastic cement. With figures it pays to clean up the joints carefully and to paint with acrylics or oils; the tropical uniforms come into their own with gentle shading and light dusting with pigments for a desert effect. The weapons supplied can also be used to arm other scenes.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package.
