An injection-molded plastic kit of the Italian CV3/33 tankette in the early production form in 1:35 scale from Bronco. The model is notable for crisp molding and rich detail including a modeled interior and engine. The tracks are done as link-and-length assemblies and photo-etched parts are usually included. Check the exact contents of the box and the decals against the manufacturer's part number for this item.
The CV3/33 tankette, later designated the L3, was an Italian light armored vehicle derived from the British Carden-Loyd vehicle built under license. It was a small two-man machine with light armor, usually armed with a pair of coupled machine guns. The Italian army used it in large numbers in the 1930s and at the beginning of the Second World War, even though it quickly became obsolete against real tanks.
It pays to paint and assemble the interior and the engine before you close the hull. Glue the parts with thin cement for plastic, assemble the link-and-length tracks patiently section by section and attach the photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate glue. Italian vehicles wore sand as well as multi-color camouflage schemes; once sprayed, bring out the details with a wash and add dust and mud effects with pigments on the running gear.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
