This resin set holds replacement wheels with an off-road desert tread for models of the Italian Autoblinda AB41 armored car in 1:35 scale. The Libia designation refers to the pattern of tires used in the North African and Libyan deployment. The polyurethane resin castings refine the look of the wheels against the parts of the base model.
The Autoblinda AB41 was an Italian wheeled armored car deployed during the Second World War, including in the desert conditions of North Africa. Off-road tires with a pronounced tread are among the characteristic features of cars operating in sandy terrain.
Wash the mold release agent off the wheels, cut the pour gates off and clean up the contact surfaces. They are glued with cyanoacrylate. For a realistic effect it helps to bring the tread out with pigments and dust shades; painting is preceded by applying a primer.
