The M4 Sherman was the most widespread American medium tank of the Second World War. The M4A3 version had a Ford gasoline engine, and the (76)W modification brought the stronger 76 mm M1 gun with better anti-armor effect, which called for a larger turret, and wet stowage of the rounds (W), reducing the risk of an ammunition fire after a hit. These vehicles were deployed in the closing phase of the fighting in Europe and represent a popular late form of the Sherman.
Cut the parts off the sprues and glue them with a thin cement for plastic. Assemble and paint the running gear and the lower hull before finishing the superstructure. After spraying the primer and the olive camouflage with an airbrush, bring the panel lines out with a wash and add chipped paint and dusting with pigments. You can give the cast surface of the turret a fine texture for a faithful casting. Dirty the tracks and the running gear according to the terrain of your diorama.
