Plastic kit of the M4A3E8 Sherman Easy Eight with T66 tracks in 1:35 scale from Asuka (formerly Tasca) — the late American medium tank.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the American M4A3E8 Sherman medium tank known as the Easy Eight, with steel T66 tracks, in 1:35 scale from Asuka (formerly Tasca). The Sherman models from this brand are among the best engineered you can get. The kit offers working suspension, workable link-by-link T66 tracks, the late upper hull, a turret with the oval loader's hatch, two versions of the 76mm barrel (with and without a muzzle brake), photo-etched parts and a detailed machine gun.
The M4A3E8 was a late version of the Sherman with the more powerful 76mm gun and above all with the new horizontal HVSS suspension and wider tracks, which improved the ride and the stability. It got the nickname Easy Eight from the E8 designation. It was deployed at the end of the Second World War in Western Europe and served long afterwards.
Assemble and paint the HVSS running gear before you close the hull. Use thin cement on the plastic and keep the workable T66 tracks movable for painting. Apply a primer and airbrush the paints; liven up the olive drab with dark washes in the details and with pigments for dust and mud on the running gear.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
