The M50, nicknamed the Super Sherman, is an Israeli rebuild of the American Sherman: the older hull received a more powerful gun of French origin and a modified turret, and in that form it served long after the Second World War. The abbreviation M4A4 in brackets in the name refers to the original version of the hull the rebuild is based on, and the Mk.2 designation distinguishes the configuration within the family; check the details of it against the manufacturer's information on the packaging.

It pays to work in groups: first the underside and the running gear, then the hull and finally the turret. Try assembling the parts dry and only then glue them, because on rebuilt machines there tend to be a lot of small parts around the turret and the side plates. Leave the running gear and the tracks unglued until you have the base shade sprayed, or you will not get to the inner surfaces. Get the paints and the decals ready in advance according to which configuration of the machine you want to build.
