An injection-molded plastic kit of the T-55A medium tank in the version of the National People's Army (NVA) in 1:35 scale from the manufacturer Miniart. The kit belongs among the finely worked-out models with a richly broken-up surface and delicate parts. The model is supplied unglued and unpainted.
The T-55 was one of the most widespread tanks of the postwar period, produced in enormous numbers and used by a whole range of armies. The T-55A version brought anti-radiation protection for the crew. The abbreviation NVA stands for the National People's Army, that is the East German armed forces, in whose equipment the tanks served.
As with military vehicles, we recommend finishing the running gear and any interior before you close up the hull. A liquid cement for plastic, a filler primer and an airbrush are the basis; mud and dust effects with washes and pigments will give the tank realistic weathering.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
