The plastic figure set Pushing Soviet soldiers from MiniArt in 1:35 scale, five figures.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic figure set from the MiniArt range of military miniatures. It holds five figures of Soviet soldiers in summer uniforms freeing a truck that has become stuck. Four privates and one officer lean into the body, two of them using stout branches as levers. The set is meant to be glued and painted.
Muddy roads and the recovery of stuck vehicles were an everyday part of logistics on the Eastern Front during the Second World War. The set captures the typical situation in which the crew and the infantry push a stranded truck together. The dynamic positions of the figures come into their own in a diorama with a model of a period truck.
MiniArt figures tend to be finely broken up: cut the parts out carefully, clean them up and glue them with cement for plastic. Paint the summer uniforms in khaki tones and bring out the muddy boots with pigments. The tension of the poses works best with the vehicle the figures are leaning against. Unify the scene with a matte varnish.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
