A plastic kit of the German heavy wheeled armored reconnaissance vehicle Sd.Kfz.234/1 in its late modification, in 1:35 scale from MiniArt. The model captures the variant armed with the 2 cm gun and comes with photo-etched parts and several marking options.
The Sd.Kfz.234 was a family of German heavy wheeled armored vehicles built for reconnaissance, with all-wheel drive and good cross-country performance. The 234/1 version carried a quick-firing 2 cm gun in a turret, suited to infantry, lightly armored targets and soft targets. The vehicles committed in the closing stage of the war stood out for their speed and range.
Assembling the suspension and the axles carefully before closing up the hull is recommended. Use liquid cement on the plastic and even out the surfaces with a base coat and an airbrush. For the weathering use washes and pigments for dust and mud effects; glue the photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
