PANZER ART 1:35 Snow & Mud tracks for Scammell is a resin set of tracks with a snow and mud effect for models of the British Scammell tractor.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a resin accessory with a track run whose surface is cast with a relief of packed snow and mud, for models of the British Scammell heavy tractor in 1:35 scale. It is not a vehicle kit but a detail set that gives the running gear a realistic winter and off-road look without laborious build-up with putty.
Cast snow and mud in the track run saves the modeler from applying texture pastes and ensures a consistent look along the whole length. The set is intended for winter and muddy scenes where the vehicle is meant to look genuinely bogged down and clogged.
Wash the parts clean of mold release agent, separate them from the casting blocks and glue them with super glue. Snow comes out well by layering white and grayish tones with a gloss of varnish resembling frozen slush; mud is built up with brown washes, pigments and matte as well as gloss effects according to the wetness of the ground.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
