This injection-molded plastic kit represents the Soviet three-turret T-28 medium tank in the variant with a welded main turret. The 1:35 scale model contains a richly detailed hull, all three turrets and a detailed running gear, and it comes with photo-etch and copper wire. It is a faithful rendering of an interwar medium tank with a large number of parts.
The T-28 was a Soviet multi-turret medium tank of the 1930s. The main turret carried a gun, while two smaller machine gun turrets widened its field of fire. The vehicle existed in forms with both a riveted and a welded main turret; this kit corresponds to the welded variant. The T-28 served in the early part of the Second World War.
Finish the running gear and the lower part of the hull first, and only then close up the superstructure and seat the turrets. It is practical to paint the turrets separately. Bring the large vertical armor surfaces to life with shading and subtle toning. For the weathering, use washes in the details and pigments for dust and mud. The copper wire will serve as a tow cable.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
