Miniart 1:35 Soviet Tank Crew at Rest is a set of plastic figures of a Soviet tank crew resting away from combat, intended to bring dioramas and vehicles in 1:35 scale to life.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set from Miniart brings injection-molded plastic figures of Soviet tank crewmen in 1:35 scale, captured in a moment of rest away from combat. The figures are designed in relaxed, natural poses and serve to bring dioramas, vignettes and scenes around armored vehicles to life. The set contains sprues with the figure parts and printed instructions. Paints, glue and a vehicle are not included in the package.
The figures represent members of a Soviet tank crew in period overalls and caps. The resting poses leave room for telling the story of a scene, for instance a crew's break beside their vehicle during a move. A relaxed posture is a rewarding addition to a static display of a tank, which otherwise lacks a human dimension.
Cut the parts from the sprues with a sharp knife and clean up the mold parting lines carefully, especially where the arms and heads join. Before painting we recommend spraying a primer. Skin and uniforms come into their own with dry brushing and local shadows, and the transitions between cloth and skin can be brought out with thin washes. The free poses make it easy to place the figures in a particular scene.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
