A highly detailed plastic kit of the German StuG III assault gun in the Ausf.G version in 1:35 scale from MiniArt. The model captures a specific production state of the vehicle from the Alkett factory in March 1943. MiniArt makes this series as a so-called interior kit, that is with a fully worked-out fighting compartment. It is a kit for more experienced modelers.
The StuG III Ausf.G was the most widespread version of the German assault gun on the chassis of the Panzer III tank. It carried a 7.5 cm gun in a fixed superstructure without a rotating turret and served for direct fire support of the infantry as well as an effective weapon against armored vehicles. The Ausf.G version was produced from the end of 1942 and kept receiving small design changes, so the individual monthly production states differ from one another.
First assemble and paint the interior and the running gear, and only then close up the hull and the superstructure, because you will not get at the interior later. Use thin cement on the plastic, prime the surface and spray with an airbrush. For weathering use washes in the recesses and pigments for dust and mud effects on the running gear.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
