A highly detailed injection-molded kit of the T-34/85 tank in the early-type variant of Czechoslovak license production, and with a full interior. The kit reproduces the inside of the driver's compartment, the fighting compartment and the turret, and contains the engine, a complete set of ammunition, individual track links, clear parts, a photo-etched fret and decals for several marking options. It is a premium kit with a large number of parts.
After the Second World War the restored Czechoslovakia began license production of the T-34/85 tank, which became the basis of its newly built armored forces. The first batches were made at the beginning of the 1950s at the Skoda works in Plzen and then at the engineering works in Martin. The vehicles kept the design features of Soviet wartime production, but they were notable for higher quality of workmanship and small local modifications. The early type corresponds to the first production batches.
Build interior kits from the bottom up: first finish and paint the inside of the fighting compartment, the engine and the turret, and only then close the hull. Bring the inside to life with washes in the recesses and a dry brush on the edges of the instruments and the ammunition. Assemble the individual track links patiently and give them the correct sag. Weather the outer surfaces with pigments and mud effects; open hatches will reveal the detailed interior.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
