An injection-molded plastic kit of the Russian T-90 tank fitted with the TBS-86 front dozer blade from Meng. The kit is marked out by a working blade, separate parts for the anti-shaped-charge armor, clear parts for the lights and the periscopes and link-and-length tracks that need no gluing. The package usually holds photo-etched parts and an electronic component for suggesting the infrared searchlights; go by the instructions for the exact contents.
The T-90 is a modern Russian main battle tank derived from the design of the T-72 series. It carries a 125 mm smoothbore gun, composite and reactive armor and an active protection system. The TBS-86 blade serves for self-entrenching, clearing obstacles and preparing firing positions in the field with no need for engineer vehicles.
Assemble the running gear and the blade first and only then close the hull up. Glue the plastic with thin cement, treat the surface with a primer and apply the paints with an airbrush. Bring out modern Russian camouflage with filters, washes and pigments; the working blade can be left movable.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
